What the name covers in Serengeti#
The hunter is the theme and Hunting Season is the mechanic that carries it. The structure is simple: the ordinary spin pays out first, then a hunt runs on top of what you have already won.
The hunt is assembled from four parts, and they always arrive in this order:
- The shot. Five shots go out left to right, one target above each reel, and each one either hits or misses. The misses matter as much as the hits, because they decide how much of the board converts.
- Star rank as a price list. Animals carry stars, and the stars decide what they become: one star to at least Bronze, two to at least Silver, three to at least Gold, and the top animal to a Trap worth at least Gold.

Two of those rows carry most of the weight. The first is the buy menu: five separate entries with five separate published returns, from 96.1% to 96.35%, rather than a single price.
